l'enfer, c'est la répétition
Not again.
Yet again... I swipe up. Another reel, another tiktok, another half hour, gone. It's after midnight and my wife is upstairs, sleeping. I don't know what I'm still doing here, languishing on the couch. I can't be bothered to get up to go to bed. How many nights and evenings have been like this?
I sigh, bored, tired and annoyed with myself. I glance at the TV. I lost track of the plot. Something with zombies. Whatever.

Might be new onset schizophrenia.
Hey! I happen to call that having a life!
I refuse to believe you spend your evenings watching TV and looking at Tik Tok.
Languishing on the couch, bored, tired.
:ok: I happen to call that the life I want.

Would your grandfather (or other male progenitor) who fought in the great wars be proud of you?
Sounds like mundane boredom. If you’re not careful, you may begin to experience Profound Boredom.
According to Heidegger, in profound boredom, the world as a whole appears empty and holds us in limbo. “ Dasein as such can no longer go along with things in the world because it is entranced as Da-sein, and indeed as a whole. What entrances is nothing other than the temporal horizon.”The moment of vision which properly makes Dasein possible is simultaneously announced in this telling refusal of beings as a whole.”
Tik Tok may be your ticket to enlightenment.
