Bio

I was a member of the old Philosophy Forum until I was on a hiatus around 2014. I found Philosophy Forum's new website and I'm glad to see some familiar faces. I'm currently studying philosophy for my PhD. I'm primarily interested in Marxism, Kant, and political philosophy and recently developed an interest in German Idealism.

Favourite Philosopher

Immanuel Kant, Spinoza, Karl Marx, Hegel, Jean Jacques Rousseau, and Derek Parfit.

Favourite Quotations

"The worker becomes all the poorer the more wealth he produces, the more his production increases in power and size. The worker becomes an ever cheaper commodity the more commodities he creates. The devaluation of the world of men is in direct proportion to the increasing value of the world of things. Labor produces not only commodities; it produces itself and the worker as a commodity – and this at the same rate at which it produces commodities in general."
