Bio

What's greater than love of the world? Love of the self, which can be volatile. If you love yourself too much, you could, and I quote, "...get sucked up in your own asshole..."(Anonymous). If you don't love yourself enough, which many people don't, it could lead to destructive behaviors, similar in nature but not alike at all to the previous example. It takes mental fortitude to love one's self and still be critical of who they are and improve upon their faults, while still being aware that their faults will always exist.
So what is the point?
There is no point, there is only striving to achieve an unattainable goal, so that maybe the brevity of our existence is a little less meaningless than it already is.

Favourite Philosopher

Nietszche, Dostoyevsky, Plato, Diogenes, Epectetus.

"Music gives a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." -Plato

Sorry if I come off as rude, but I'm confused as to what mathematics and true or false have to do with correct or false beliefs.

The only wrong way to live is to be at odds with your values is what I take from this, correct me if I'm wrong.
February 19, 2022 at 01:31
What would you constitute as false beliefs and correct beliefs?
February 19, 2022 at 01:27
False and correct according to what though? An individual's beliefs? If that's the case, I agree with you entirely.
February 19, 2022 at 01:21
You make an extremely valid point that I hadn't considered before. Funny story btw, as morally reprehensible as it is.

I understand that there are morally reprehensible things an individual can do, especially to another human being, however I supposed I'm narrowing the...
