Me and Pavlov's dog

It's just weird sometimes how things converge. I have been discussing paradigms and how important and difficult it is to break them. Then, I get broadsided by one just by coming to this forum.

I've been on this other forum for years. Nobody talks at all. I was in a really disgruntled mood today after posting a few notes on here and I couldn't pin down the reason and I couldn't shake the feeling. Then it dawned on me. I was so used to a forum where no one talks that I was preparing myself for more of the same on this board. What a breath of fresh air this forum is!!

Yeah, me and that darned dog.

Reply to Whickwithy If no one talked on the other forum, what did you do there? :worry:

I should have said, "conversed". It's like everyone comes on, says something, is ignored, and someone else comes on and says something.

There are rare exceptions but even those are weird. Someone came on the board not long ago, asked a question, got a few answers from a couple of members (yes, I was one). After awhile, the querier came back on said, "thanks, that's enough. I've got my answer".
