Les Mots - upbringing that produces philosophers?

Just read it. Really trying to get into the brain of a bollinger bolshevik, but of course one of the great existentialists, really writing stuff that is accessible, that I can enjoy.

Now, that kind of start, Daddy dies early, mommy a Schweizer, top class bourgeoisie. Grandpa, some kind of Patriarch takes care of the male stuff. Guy Sits at home writing books at 7 yo while everyone cheers. No buddies until he gets into nerd academy and find friends. Now, is that what it takes to know how everything works or does it really send you up in the clouds? One thing for sure, he don’t know how nice friday night is. Did most top philos go that way?
