Usage - how to quote text on an IOS device?

Pretty new here and try to find my way around.
Commenting on a pc is straightforward and better than average(phpbb), you just select some text and a little button pops up, “quote”. That little button do not show up on my IPad, my preferred device.

1. Can one contact any forum authority to report this obvious bug?
2. Is there a way around it for now? To comment and not oly get a little something with the name of the quotian?

On Android if you hold your finger down on a word it will eventually highlight, with the option to expand or contract the selection and quote it. Does that not work for iOS?

It’s possible that the floating Quote icon is above the visible area of the screen, in which case swipe up.
