Russellian contents VS Fregean contents in representationalism. What are the key differences?

I just recently started to take a closer look at represetationalism and have not had time to delve into the debate between these two camps of content. Can anyone clarify the differences and maybe explain why you support one or the other?

See Chalmers, 2004, “Representational Character of Experience”, pt 6 (on Russell), and 7 (on Frege).

Ah, yes. I was aware Chalmers had written something about their positions. It was his name that led me to the two types of contents. Thanks!
