When your brain is too stimulated for sleep...

Wheatley April 10, 2019 at 05:26 2800 views 6 comments
It's 1:30 in the morningwhere I live and I can't fall asleep. No, I'm not on any stimulants. It's natural for mind to get too excited sometimes, which is not problem unless it happens when I need to sleep. So what do I do? I can't just do nothing. Despite the fact that I'm too stupid for philosophy, and my tendency to get addicted, I've chosen to write on the Philosophy Forum. A very bad decision in my opinion.

That just me being me. What do you think I should have done?

Remember that even a Stoic like Chrysippus died from laughter by seeing a donkey eating figs.

Humour is a good remedy for everything mundane and boring.

Oink!

I need to be bored. I am bored, therefore I sleep. I believe Descartes used similar logic.

Hmm, I suppose some melatonin or warm milk might help.

It's 11 here, so I'm just wallowing until I fall asleep.

Done, 10 mg. Let's see if it works this time.
