Are our thoughts certain?

I have a question

Descartes concluded "I think, therefore I am". He referenced that as he was doubting, this proved his existence.

Now, in my mind, Descartes could only conclude this if his thoughts were certain.

What I mean is:

When Descartes thought he was doubting, was it certain that this was in fact what he was thinking?

Right now, I think I am writing on this forum. Is it certain that this is what I am thinking? Could I in fact be thinking that I'm watching TV instead? Could a Demon be making me think that I think otherwise? Or would that not make sense?

If I think I'm on this forum, is that thought certain?
