What lessons are to be learned from the era of the Trump presidency?

I'd like to hear what everyone things we can learn from our collective experiences during the Trump presidency. I'd like to hear from you whether you're both pro-Trump, anti-Trump, somewhere in the middle.

Here's some things I've learned:

- truth should be highly valued
- no one should be trusted to convey the complete, unvarnished truth
- we need to be vigilant to avoid being manipulated, and the best defense is information and critical thinking
- we should not take freedom of the press for granted
- no one can accurately predict the future and therefore we should value hearing differing perspectives

Feel free to disagree, but please avoid hyperbole and insults.
