Just interested to know. He/she could be a tad rude at times - I know that @MetaphysicsNow came in for some misguided mudflinging - and he/she was not particularly sophisticated philosophically, but I didn't see anything that required so drastic an action as banning, but perhaps the posts that resulted in his eviction have been deleted?

Not accepting a warning. PMed insults including use of the phrases Nazi, fascist, psychopathic idiot etc. So, yes, you didn't see it.
