Transgender people in gender specific sports.

What does everyone think about men who identify as women competing in women's sports? I read an article about girls who were at the height of their sport that were beaten terribly at it by transgender males. Does that seem unfair since clearing the physical attributes will be different in many ways? It certainly doesn't fair well for women who were born that way.
